For the past few years, Communities in Bloom, together with the Royal Bank, have been holding a "Yard of the Week" Draw to give special recognition to "a yard well done".
How do we choose the "Yard of the Week", you may ask? Well, this is not a competition at all-it is simply a draw. But, to be in the draw, someone has noticed a yard that they find eye-appealing. Or they may have simply noticed how much hard work has gone into it. Next thing you know, you�re yard is nominated! And if we draw your name, you're a winner.
Draws will start on June 9th. Entry Deadline: Monday of each week. To enter: Drop off entries or nominations to the Royal Bank or Valley Royal Travel or enter by phone to Donna at 867-2105. The draw is open to any resident or business in town or surrounding rural location.
